THE DEAD WE KNEW: Open World Survival went live on Steam in mid-September 2026 as a paid Early Access title. The launch closed out a launch window that had already moved twice: promotional posts originally advertised August 24, 2026, the developer later announced September 17, 2026, and the game actually unlocked on September 16 in early time zones (late September 15 in the Americas).
